We had this new range installed when we bought our new house just over a year ago. As soon as the one year initial warranty is done this range is like a car and everything starts to break. The large burner takes multiple attempts to start and when it does the flame is huge. The cast iron grate now has one of the feet that is broken. Isn't cast iron supposed to be very strong?! Make you wonder what the grate is actually made of. To say the least I expected much more from something that is new and by a reputable company.

The oven don't cook evenly the bottom of item get.

The smaller over is too small to not get a burn from. The lower level is just too low. Worried that my dog may step on the door and get burned. It lays on the ground.

I had a double oven electric range for many years but I always wanted to switch to gas so I was very excited when I found this one and it did not disappoint! Also love that the bottom oven can be used as a convection too! I feel like I got everything on my wish list in one unit! The only thing I don't like is the bottom oven door handle hits the floor very easily. Have to open it slowly.

We've had the range for 10 months and are happy with it. I do regret the double oven as I find it's difficult to place pans in lower oven as I'm tall and the oven is at floor level. It's even more difficult taking the hot pans out of the oven. I wish it had 4 to 6 inch below bottom oven, so ovens were higher.

I purchased this unit to replace a 15 year old double oven range. I am very disappointed with several design features of this Whirlpool model.
First, there is only 1 timer for a double oven unit - do the designers think you would buy a double oven to only use one of the ovens at a time?
Second, I can deal with the knobs on the front of the unit, though my previous oven had them on the cook top. HOWEVER, as several other reviews have noted, the knobs turn the gas on WAY TOO EASILY, BEFORE the clicking sound to ignite the burners, thus allowing gas to flow easily from the burners. This happens when I simply lean in to adjust something on the control panel, or reach the cabinet over the stove. We have young grandchildren visit frequently and this is a major safety issue. To make things worse, because of the fixed bezel around the knob, there is no way to add a child-proof knob cover.
When I live-chatted with Susan and asked how to remove the bezel to add a child-proof cover, as there aren't any screws attaching the bezel to the unit's front, she suggested reading the "User Instruction" manual. When I mentioned that the user manual only addresses removal of the knobs themselves, she wrote: "I am not finding anything in regards to there being issues with the knobs for that model.... If you like you can have a local, certified appliance care representative take a look at it."

I had this installed the first of April. Immediately smelled gas and the burners and ovens took 15 minutes to light. Appliance workman came and an installed part had not been tightened properly. This could have caused a FIRE! A couple days later the burners would still not light. He came again. Ordered a new part. Came back over a week later to install and it was the wrong part. Reordered; another week + to receive part and install it. So it was a month before I could actually use it. So far, I am liking it

We bought this abut a week ago. We really love how easy it is to clean the stove top and it was really very easy to install. We find the controls a little less than intuitive and the written description in the user's guide is not super helpful. We are also a little less than happy with the timer alert that goes off when the timer is done. It only rings once and is not very loud. Our old oven had an alert that repeat several times at quite a bit higher volume than this one does. We have set the volume control all the way to the top, so its sounding as loud as it can, but we aren't as happy with that feature. Overall it seems like a good stove and with the minor exceptions listed above, we are generally happy with it....so far.

I have had this for just over a year now and still trying to adjust to the low BTU's. The grades are so far off the burners (which makes it easy to clean) but it seems to keep the pan's to far away making everything take forever to cook. I would NOT buy this stove again it's not worth the hype to have two ovens. The bottom oven is so low to the ground that when you open the door it literally rest on the floor. The smaller oven I have used the frozen feature which seems to work pretty good but it doesn't seem to cook evenly for the pizza.

We have had the oven for almost one year. I love the double oven. We cook a lot and have big get togethers. I have not used the center burner. We use the convect oven part for roasting veggies and it works great. A little uneven baking for desserts for both and top and bottom where I need to rotate halfway. Right from the beginning the black writing on the knobs washed off. The knobs turn on easily from just leaning over to clean the microwave or bumping into them. I can deal with the uneven baking but I wouldn't buy this oven again because of the knobs.

We bought our house a month ago with this double oven range just installed. I love the double ovens since I can cook two different dishes at different temps. I am still getting use to the gas stove top. It can make the kettle and the cabinets above pretty hot. We are thinking of getting an electric kettle for that reason. The oven spaces are easy to clean too which is a big plus!

We bought this oven a year ago. It's beautiful and the double oven is such a great idea. the easy lift hinged grates are exceptional. The quality is surprisingly poor for a whirlpool product. Within the first year, the knobs have all warped/bubbled as they are PLASTIC with silver film on them. The gas knobs also turn so easily that we have walked into kitchen and smelled gas without knowing knob was bumped and gas was flowing in our house. I will not burn candles in kitchen anymore as i am afraid the house will explode. The oven pans that cover the heating elements have warped and pop/bend when oven heats up. The middle burner is USELESS as it doesn't get hot enough to use griddle on. I have had service company come out and was told the "cosmetic" issues are not covered under warranty and the gas knobs turning on by being bumped are MY FAULT. Is it possible we received a lemon? I'll never know because I'm stuck with this range despite the extended warranty I purchased. I will never purchase another whirlpool product as their quality has fallen so low it's unbelievable. BTW, why are all of the positive reviews "incentivized reviews"? Let's see if this review actually shows!

After the total loss of our home we rebuilt and went with all Whirlpool appliances
I decided to get a gas range instead of electric and my wife want the double ovens.
Even though I am still learning to use it all I have really enjoyed it.
I used the cooktop for my canning this year and it was so nice.
Used both ovens for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful.

We have had this range for over a month now and recently hoisted over 30 people at our house for Christmas. The flexibility that the double range gives us is more than we could ask for as we were able to cook the turkey in the bottom oven and then were able to heat up everything else in the upper oven. We use the upper oven all the time for the dinners and kids breakfast. Both oven heat up super quick compared to our old units, the grates with the swing arms make it easy to clean below them. The controls are also easy to use. I would highly recommend this unit to any one but especially if you have kids.

I am single and over 70. Love the upper smaller oven since I rarely used the larger oven in my last stove. The five burners are handy as well. Works well and looks good...kinda like me. They could have put a stainless top around the burners that would not show every splatter.
