It's a little on the small side but our current kitchen cabinets would not allow for something bigger. So it was a downsize from our last refrigerator. The freezer is not as big as the last one but that's nothing against this refrigerator, the size is what it is. Other than that, I like the lighting, two of the three drawers slide in and out really easily. For some reason the deli drawer is a rougher slide, no idea why.
One part I am not thrilled about is that the doors do not seem to shut on their own, after a little nudge, like most refrigerators do. So this means I have to stick around and make sure the door shuts properly otherwise it will stay open running up my power bill. The freezer is worse than the refrigerator in this regard.

The condo I purchased nearly a year ago had GE appliances that I hated from the start, including a bottom freezer refrigerator that was inconveniently laid out. I swore at it every time I opened it and couldn't wait to upgrade to this side-by-side, a style I prefer. I've purchased black appliances for my last two homes but decided on the black stainless this time. I purchased a range and a microwave at the same time. I love the Whirlpool brand. The issue I had with this and the other appliances I purchased is what is obviously poor QC at manufacturing. I've had a lot of damage, clearly the result of poor mfg practices. The first refrigerator had a bent leveling screw that could not be fixed. Three days later Best Buy delivered another one which performs beautiful. I'm very pleased. It fits the limited space I have but it's a sufficient size for my needs.

Love the black stainless steel. Overall great refrigerator. I like the separate ice and water levers. Like the built in can storage. My only issue is the aesthetic from the side. Walking into my kitchen the fridge is visible from the side. The bottom of the refrigerator does not have a cover over the wires and bolts. I've never had a refrigerator that did not cover this area. I did not notice this when selecting this model on line. I'll have to get use to this, but, I don't like it.

I am not very happy with this refrigerator. It is exceptionally noisy, even producing loud knocking sounds at some points. It seems cheaply made and I am questioning how long it is going to last. Not being able to adjust the shelves is also an issue. I am not sure how anyone could think that was a good design idea. The water dispensed is not cold. This refrigerator replaced an old Kenmore that finally gave out. I miss my old refrigerator.

I've always yearned for a refrigerator with the water dispenser in the door. But my available space was small so I didn't know if any refrigerator would fit. This model is perfect! It fits in the space, has the water dispenser and looks great with the black stainless steel style. It might be a little small for a family but it works fine for a single person.

We purchased all new appliances about 4 months ago. I love the ice and water dispenser. I love the huge drawers. The freezer part is a little tight, but at least food doesn't get burried in the back. We have a deep freezer for that. Keeps food very cold. The black stainless steel resists finger prints and dirt.

I liked the looks of it, it's narrow enough to fit in my old space, but for new technology they've taken too many shortcuts. Water dispenser is cheap and messy, but ice dispenser is good. Shelving is not adjustable, so milk cartons are too close to the top, making it clumsy to put in and out. 3 crispers, so removing one adds just the right space now. But floor adjusters are awkward and let the whole thing buzz as if the frame weren't square.

I always buy Whirlpool when appropriate. I bought this refrigerator to replace my other one. After 2 weeks the refrigerator died. I lost all food in the freezer, not to mention what was in the refrigerator. Woke up to a flood of water in my kitchen. I called for service, they came 3 days later, could not fix it. Lost all freon in refrigerator due to leak. Now it has to be replaced, which will be another 7 to 10 days.

Purchases on clearance it was a return special-order item. Refrigerator fits and does the job however the shelving cannot be adjusted and it won't allow for a gallon of milk to fit in it.

Purchased about a month ago. 1st- shelves are not adjustable in fridge, and only the top shelf is tall enough to place milk gallon. You cannot put a 2 liter bottle of soda in fridge unless you lay flat. 2nd the top shelf (same shelf as discussed previously), you cannot put any liquids or anything which may freeze on shelf as this shelf has a air-recycling vent which will freeze you milk or other liquids. One only figure his out once you try to eat cereal & milk has icicles!! Again since shelf are not adjustable, you can only fit tall items in door. This is a terrible design. In essence; the top shelf is practically useless because you can't put anything on it because items may freeze. Whirlpool is aware of this issue, because they "warn" you of this if you research the "Frequent questions" on website. I think this should be in BOLD letters in fridge so one can be advised of this design flaw before purchasing.

We got a great deal on this fridge, as it was a customer return to the store. We desperately needed a new fridge, and this one fit our needs! It is not as tall as a lot of the new refrigerators out there, which made fitting it into our 70's style kitchen easy. The black stainless steel looks slick, and the features are great. The only complaint is that you can hear it run louder than other newer fridges. It doesn't bother us, but if you are looking for something that is quiet, this is not it. Otherwise, it is spacious enough to accommodate our family of 5.

This side-by-side refrigerator was already installed in my new villa. it is a great refrigerator, but the side-by-side design isn't appropriate for the space. I have to open the interior door to the garage to open the freezer door fully. I find the narrow freezer too small. I would have much preferred a French door refrigerator, and it would have worked for the space better.

I bought this about three weeks ago and My Wife and are very happy with it. The only thing that I would change is the light at the Ice and water compartment. It is good while retrieving ice but does not light up a glass when retrieving water from the dispenser.

Bought this refrigerator to fit a particular space. Model was not available in store so it was purchased sight unseen. It is a very good looking appliance. Only 3 critiques is that the freezer side door shelves are almost unusable as far as space goes, top shelf of fridge side is not low enough and cannot be adjusted and ice maker is particularly loud. Each freezer side door shelf will only hold one item the size of a bag of frozen vegetables. Fridge side top shelf will not allow the high of a standard gallon jug (milk, juice, etc.). Ice maker emptying noise will startle you until you get used to it. I have had this new refrigerator for about 2 weeks so I am sure I will adjust to these issues. Purchase was made to fit the area I had available to work with so there is no real knock on this product.

The first one delivered must have been used, the screws were stripped to adjust the doors, therefor the handles did not line up correctly nor did the refrigerator seal completely. The second one is better but you have to manually adjust the ice maker bar. It sticks and you will be left without ice. Disappointing for a brand new appliance.
