Dryer model efmg417siw And washer eflw417siw. We purchased this pair in September of 17. Less than one year the washer stopped mid cycle and would not allow any cancellation or restart. Still under warranty a repair man came and discovered the lint trap was clogged. My wife washed a bath Matt. Are you kidding me a lowly bath Matt? So now we have a washer she can hardly fill. Its just 2 retired people with not much wash.we took out an after market warranty soon afterward. Sure enough dry starts sounding like train in the wash room. Called and had repair guy come out .a palm full of lint was the cause. He had to take the whole outer cabinet apart to get at it. After he was done he said that if it happens again it wont be covered. Well within 6 months its rumbling like a train again . we were so happy that we decided to spend a little more money for these units . Sorry we did nothing but junk. Should have a recall on them.

We got both washer and dryer with a move in package . They both have needed repairs before hitting 2 year mark .. washer had the pump break and leaked water with in the year of having it . Dryer electrical stop working cost a lot to repair and takes about a month to get the appliances back in working conditions.. repair company are very slow at repairing it .. diagnostic was one thing the other the part and the part is broken finally get back to repair the appliance and then still needs additional payments and additional parts .. stay away

I bought this dryer to go with the matching Electrolux washer. The steam function was an unexpected benefit and it seems to help with permanent press fabrics so that they release wrinkles better than the old dryer. Beyond that its not real fancy and the options are straightforward so its pretty easy to use. I love having a timer to help guide my return trip to the basement when its completed the cycle. The big window in the door is helpful to see whats going on inside and for loading and unloading the light is well placed. I stacked this on top of the matching washer no pedestals and the dryer is practically eye-level which is convenient for loading. All in all its a good value and a nice looking unit.

After my washing machine broke I needed a new machine quickly. Because I was limited by size there were only a few options to consider. One was the Electrolux and after reading several positive reviews I felt confident about my purchase. I have 5 children so lots of laundry. Since the new machine is bigger I feel like doing laundry has become more efficient. Im happy with the features and performance so far.

We bought our machines 2 mo ago and they have been working well. No complaints with the cleaning or drying of clothes. The back grate in the dryer has a burnt looking area but the service people said it is just because of the heat and nothinf to worry about

Bought this and the washer to replace older Kenmore. The dryer was actually still working but figured it was getting close and with the Electrolux rebate still waiting for it and a rebate from Oklahoma Natural Gas it almost paid for the dryer so why not. Also it is a very good dryer so far. We like the steam feature which takes out some of the static. Quit and good size. I think we made the right choice.

Defective parts damaged dryer vent line

Bought this appliance after much research. after 5-6 months a terrible loud noise started. we called Electrolux service. Their repairman stated the lint filter eas defective had been recalled and showed us the blower which was completely filled and compacted with lint. a new lint filter was ordered and sent which we put in place. Dryer then stopped drying and filled room with steam. Repairman returned to discover they had not reattached the dryer host to the dryer vent that was done. Dryer still wouldnt dry clothes - 4 t-shirts took 1.5 hours. repairman returned to find that dryer vent line was blocked with lint from the original lint filter that wouldnt seal. Thermostat would therefore cut off the heat and the blower was banging again. New parts were ordered but Electrolux refused to unblock our dryer vent line which their self-proclaimed defective part caused. I would NOT recommend this appliance or company due to these events.

Weve had this dryer for a few weeks now and its easy to program and use. Its pretty quiet as well and the lint trap is easy to clean out. Id give it 5 start but weve had a few times where the dryer was on sensor/auto dry and when the cycle ended the clothes were still damp. Happens on the delicate cycle mostly.
