installers arrived late, walked around showing their backsides, and left a broken sink so i couldn't use the sink or the dishwasher until i paid a plumber $250.00 to come fix what they broke.

We recently purchased the new Samsung StormWash DW80R5060 series dishwasher. My expectations were blown away and I can't stop raving about it! When it was delivered, I couldn't believe how quick and easy the installation was. And it looks so sleek and professional. I especially love the stainless-steel finish on door. It truly is smudge-proof and resists fingerprints too. This is so important to me, as it keeps the dishwasher looking brand new. I'm also impressed with how light the door is- it opens and closes so easily. The recessed handle doesn't stick out and is built into the door- love this feature!
My dishes have never been cleaner. The third rack is a wonderful addition, and a great spot for utensils or baking sheets. And the bottom rack has a StormWash feature that concentrates on especially dirty dishes. It really cleans baked on, dirty pots and pans. The other racks are adjustable too, so you can truly fit even the largest dish loads in one washing.
With 6 different wash options, you can completely customize the dishwasher to your needs. One of my favorite settings is the sanitize option. I'm a clean freak, so it is important that I know the dishes are both spotless and germ-free. This dishwasher by far has the best cleaning capacity of any dishwasher that I have owned.
What surprised me the most is how quiet the dishwasher is during use- you cannot hear it! No more turning the tv up while the dishwasher is running- it's unbelievable how silent it is. And when the cycle is nearing completion, the auto release door opens to improve drying performance- no more towel drying dishes before putting them away.
It's obvious that Samsung did their research and listened to customers, as this product blew away my expectations- from features to ease of use. Overall, I'm so thrilled with my dishwasher and can't wait to discover new features. Hands down, Samsung nailed it and I am on happy customer!

The delivery and installation was quick and efficient. The delivery company was on time, curious and knowledgeable about the product. After the installation there was no mess left behind. The dishwasher cleans the dishes with great force. When running it is extremely quiet. You don't even know its running. The only time I heard the dishwasher was when the water drained. The extra tray at the top keeps the large utensils from getting mixed together with other larger items. They are clean and sanitized when the cycle is done. Stacking the dishes inside the correct racks, allows for the water to flow easy between the dishes. There are many rack features to hold different type of items. Glasses come out streak free and do not have spots and are not cloudy. The dishwasher holds more dishes than I was able to put in my previous one. The interior being stainless steel makes the dishwasher studier. The controls are easy of understand. The different cycles are easy to go through and use depending on the type of wash you want. The auto release is quite. The only time you know it opens, is when you feel some of the hot from the drying. The cycle goes quicker and the dishes are cleaner than my last dishwasher. When the dishwasher is done the dishes are not hot to touch when removing them. The outside does not show any spots or smudges when I touch the outside. The controls are easy to use and program a wash cycle. The manual was easy to use and follow.

This dishwasher is really amazing. I did the first wash and used the normal cycle with Stormwash. I had let some dishes sit from the night before to do my cleanliness test. My dishes had everything from blueberry smoothies, greasy pots, dried peanut butter on spoons to spaghetti sauce in bowls. The normal cycle with Stormwash took about 3 hrs. A really cool feature is the digital display timer that counts down the wash cycle time. When I first hit the power button, it gave a nice chime and the blue indicator lights came on. I selected the wash cycle and then hit start. I didn't hear anything. I stood there looking baffled because I had did the install myself and I was sure everything was connected correctly. All I heard was silence. Then I wondered if the water valve was open, I checked and it was. So no issues there. I waited to see if I would hear any movement of water or a sound..but nothing. Then I put my ear to the dishwasher because I didn't believe it was working. I could hear the water softly filling the machine, but only when my ear was against it. It was phenomenal. I had never had such a quiet dishwasher. I felt silly to doubt myself and I really thought I had done something wrong with the install..but I was Soooo wrong! The dishwasher is Quiet as a Whisper! One other feature that is great is the Auto Release functionality, this is where the dishwasher will automatically open near the end of the cycle to vent and help dry the dishes faster. This will happen about 5-15 min before the end of the wash cycle. Another great feature is the finish is fingerprint proof. It will not transfer your fingerprints if it's touched, you will see a very faint impression if you have water or liquid on your hand, but not if your hand is completely dry. This for me is nice, which means not always having to keep wiping it after every touch. I am extremely pleased with the overall functionality and the top control design. This model has a recessed handle which gives it a sleek smooth appearance and modern look. Samsung you have out done yourself once again!

Samsung has out done it with their top control, sleek, fingerprint resistant, StormWash dishwasher DW80R5060. Not only did it make my dishes cleaner it has attractive appearance to it.
Some of the smart features that I like are as follows: StormWash- this area concentrates on those hard to clean pans or dishes. It has a removable plate support that accommodates these large pots.
Sanitize button- this button allows u to sanitize dishes and gets the temperature to 163 degrees.
Lower rack- this button I for when u just need to clean a few dishes. You just load up the bottom area and wash.
Rinse indicator light- it's an icon that lights up right next to the time to let you know you need to add some more rinse aid. So no more wondering.
Control lock- having kids makes this nice because you don't have to worry about them pushing anything it locks.
Delay start- You can delay start this for up to 24 hours. This is nice especially if u got to go to work and u have a few things running and your not quite ready to start.
With this dishwasher there is a third rack called the cutlery rack it can be removed but it works awesome for my wash needs. No more taking up space where u have loaded your cups. It also has groves for forks, spoons, and knives. It's a breeze grabbing them to put away because you don't have to worry about them getting stuck inside the utensil basket.
This dishwasher is constructed well it is stainless steel and fingerprint resistant. The design is not only sleek but clean. There are no buttons on the front. They say less is more. The racks are durable and in areas removable.
I have ran this dishwasher several times and asked myself is this on. It is so quiet I was questioning myself. I could see the light indicator light was on. When it was done the door opens to help with the drying process. This is a great feature for me but if you say u had a refrigerator next to it this wouldn't work but on the positive side you can delete the setting that activates the door to open. This is a nice feature so kids don't accidentally bang the refrigerator door into it.
I definitely have more storage than I ever did on my other dishwasher and my dishes have come out clean and sanitized. It makes me feel better as a mom and a nurse that all those germs are gone.
